Born at the end of July, I came into this world under the astrological sign of Leo. The Lioness, strives to be the center of attention, is both bold and narcissistic. I suppose we all have a little bit of the lion in us, more so with the advent of Facebook and Twitter. We want to be the center of attention, but at the same time we desire the detachment and anonymity of the internet. Over the internet, we are able to craft better versions of ourselves. We are able to make those comebacks and witty one liners that we wish we could have said to people that insult us. We can be socially adept and articulate. We can be the life of the (online) party.
So why am I doing this?
1. Post-Grad, I need to get back in the habit of writing.
2. I need to figure how to feel comfortable expressing myself and exposing it to others.
3. Creatively, I need an outlet in which I can make mistakes.
4. I really like reading blogs.
Rereading what I wrote, I don't really like the first paragraph, but I'm going to keep it, for shits and giggles. I don't really know what this blog is going to be about, I hope it will just organically evolve.
